Road Farm Countryways is a traditional working family farm offering opportunities for people to learn, grow and improve their well-being, through activities involving many aspects of farming life and nature.
Our ‘Tent in the Orchard’ is a dedicated flexible space where individuals or families can sit or stroll in quiet reflection, or enjoy simple nature activities around the farm.
We hope that this peaceful space will be especially help to those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, for example NHS staff who may be in need of some rest and recovery; or those who may be suffering stress or anxiety, or feeling overwhelmed or isolated. It’s a place for quiet reflection or for families emerging from isolation to meet safely in ‘The tent’ and to help people feel able to step outside again.
Time in the space is booked in advance as we are limiting visitor numbers so that social distancing can be maintained with confidence. The Tent in the Orchard can be booked at the following times:
- Weds 1.30pm
- Friday 1.30pm
- Saturday 11am
